2014 was a busy year

Here's an overview of our responses

In January we responded to an evidence search and helped Orcas Island on a Mutual Aid call.

February started out with a call for a missing dementia patient. The following week we looked for a missing teen and helped Skagit County on a Mutual Aid call.

March was busy with a river call, another missing dementia patient, and a missing child.  The end of March we were hit with the Oso landslide. A few of our members with specialized training responded to Oso.

In April we only had one call, and that was to Whatcom Falls Park.

May is extremely busy with the State SAR Conference and Ski to Sea activities. We also had 2 calls, one to Whatcom Falls Park and another for a missing person in Ferndale.

June continued the trend with a call to the border, another Mutual Aid call and a call to Ferndale.

In July several members were called away from CERT training to look for a missing child in Newhalem.

August started with a mutual aid call with WASART for a dog at Welcome Pass, followed by 2 more missing persons, and ended with an evidence search.

During September we respnded to the North Fork area for an injured hiker.

October was a quiet month, with no mission calls.

The year ended with multiple responses for a missing person and a call for a missing teen.
